1855 Limited was founded by two childhood friends who grew up together in Hong Kong. Both of mixed French and Asian heritage, we share a lifelong passion for wine.
Together, we have accumulated over 10 years of experience in the wine industry. In 2022, we launched 1855 Limited with a clear vision: to bring wines of outstanding quality at affordable prices.
Our strength lies in our deep knowledge of Bordeaux families, prestigious vineyards, and renowned estates. This allows us to uncover hidden gems: smaller châteaux producing outstanding wines at more accessible prices.
Often, these estates benefit from unique advantages: some are neighbours of the most famous wineries and share the same exceptional terroir; others are owned by renowned families or established châteaux known for producing world-class wines.
We know, because we have personally visited each estate and carefully selected every wine ourselves.
