Blason d'Issan is the second wine of moated Château d'Issan, whose motto — 'for the tables of kings and the altars of gods' — reflects centuries of noble patronage. The 2016 is finely textured, layering currant, cherry and raspberry over cassis, bay leaf and tobacco, with firm, silky tannins and a long fresh finish.
