Famous for its saffron-yellow château, Lafon-Rochet is a Fourth Growth long owned by the Tesseron family and sold to Jacky Lorenzetti in 2021. The 2018 is powerful: baked blackberries, warm cassis and black cherry compote with chargrill, tobacco and wild mushrooms over firm, chewy tannins built for the cellar.
